In a mysterious and surreal interspace somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Grade school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and try to claim it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly bewildered group of tourists through Winnipeg’s monuments and historical sites. Matthew quits his dead-end job at a Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intersect, intertwine, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
